FAQ

The questions we
get on every call.

Straight answers, grouped by what you are actually trying to work out: what this is, who controls it, what it costs, and what your team has to do once it is running.

The basics

The basics

What this actually is, who it is for, and the difference between an agent and a receptionist.

Is this just an AI receptionist with a different name?

No, and the difference is the whole product. A receptionist waits for the phone to ring and takes a message. This agent starts the conversation: it builds a prospect list from public records, calls and emails those prospects, handles the objections, follows up until it gets an answer, and books the job on your calendar. Inbound answering is not part of what it does.

What kind of business is this for?

Local service companies with a field crew and a sales process that depends on somebody picking up the phone: plumbing, HVAC, roofing, electrical, landscaping, pest control, cleaning, garage doors, restoration, and similar trades. If your revenue comes from booked jobs in a service radius, it fits.

Who is it not for?

Businesses with no local service radius, businesses that cannot handle more work at all, and businesses looking for a cheap dialer to blast a purchased list. The agent is built to run a real outbound function, and that only pays off if you can deliver the work it books.

Do I need a CRM?

No. If you have one, the agent works inside it. If you do not, it stands up a clean pipeline for you as part of the build, and you keep ownership of the data either way.

How long until it is live?

Seven days from the build call for calling and email, assuming you can review the script and approve the market definition within that window. The first month is deliberately conservative while deliverability and call outcomes are measured, and the tuning window runs through weeks three to six.

Control, compliance and your data

Control, compliance and your data

Who is in charge, what the agent is not allowed to do, and what happens to your information.

What is the agent allowed to promise?

Only what you approve. The build produces an explicit list of service facts, price ranges and commitments the agent may state. Anything outside that list is escalated to you rather than answered, so it cannot invent lead times, licensing claims or guarantees.

Can I stop it?

Yes. There is a single switch that pauses all calling, all email, or the entire agent. Individual records can be suppressed individually, and every suppression applies across every channel.

How do you handle do-not-call, opt-outs and recording consent?

Calling windows, do-not-call scrubbing, state recording-consent rules and suppression lists are configured before launch and verified as part of onboarding. Opt-out requests are honoured immediately and permanently across calling, texting and email. You can have your counsel review the configuration before anything goes live.

Will this hurt my domain reputation?

Email sends from a separate authenticated subdomain with its own sending reputation, ramped on a controlled curve and paused automatically if metrics slip. Your primary domain keeps sending invoices and customer mail untouched.

Who owns the leads and the recordings?

You do. The contact data, call recordings, transcripts and pipeline export on demand, and they leave with you if you ever stop. We do not hold your customer list or your conversations hostage.

Do you sell my data or my list to anyone else?

No. The list built for your market is built for you and is not resold, shared or repurposed for another client. That is the entire difference between this and buying shared leads.

Pricing and results

Pricing and results

What it costs, how the performance component works, and what we will and will not promise.

Why is there a build fee?

Because the build is real work: market recon, list construction, call scripts, email sequences, objection libraries, CRM wiring, compliance configuration and a live thirty-day tuning window. It is a one-time cost, and it is the reason the agent performs in month two instead of month six.

What is the performance component?

A fee per job the agent books that actually lands on your calendar. It is not charged for dials, connections, opens, replies or appointments that never happen — only for work that shows up.

Are there long contracts?

The monthly operation runs month to month after the build. There is no multi-year lock-in and no seat-based licence that grows as you hire.

Will you guarantee a number of booked jobs?

No, and you should be suspicious of anyone who does. Results depend on your trade, your ticket size, your capacity and your close rate. What we do guarantee is the work: the lists get built, the dials get made, the follow-up happens, and you see every number. If the maths does not work for your market, we will say so before you buy.

What do the projections actually mean?

They are modelled from the agent's configured throughput — dial volume, conversation rate, touches per lead — combined with your trade's average ticket. They are a planning tool, not a promise, and the ROI calculator on this site uses the same model so you can change the inputs yourself.

How quickly does it pay for itself?

In most trades, one additional booked job per month covers the monthly operation. Reactivation work is run first precisely because it produces the earliest bookings, from contacts you already own.

Day-to-day operations

Day-to-day operations

What your team actually does once the agent is running.

What does my team have to do?

Answer the warm transfers, show up to the booked appointments, and deliver the work. That is it. Data entry, list building, dialing, emailing and follow-up are all handled.

How much of my time does this take?

About an hour in the first week to approve the market definition, scripts and sequences, and roughly twenty minutes a week after that to read the report and give feedback. Larger changes are handled on a scheduled call.

What does the weekly report show?

Dials, live conversations, qualified opportunities, quotes issued, appointments booked, jobs won, and revenue attributed — broken down by list, sequence and script so you can see what to fund and what to cut.

Who answers when a prospect says yes?

You do, live. The agent calls your transfer number, briefs you in one line, and bridges the call. Outside your working hours it books a callback instead of losing the prospect.

Can I change the script after launch?

Yes, and you should. Scripts are tuned weekly against real conversion data, and any change you request is applied and confirmed. Nothing about the messaging is locked.

Does it work if I have multiple locations or trades?

Yes. Each location or trade gets its own market definition, script and reporting line, while the pipeline stays consolidated in one place.

Sales objections

The eight things you are about to say.

These come up on nearly every call. If yours is not here, ask us directly — we would rather answer it now than have it decide the deal later.

"I already have a receptionist / answering service."

Keep it. A receptionist answers inbound calls you were already getting. This agent goes out and creates conversations that were never going to happen — cold lists, dead quotes, lapsed customers, storm swaths. They solve different problems and they do not overlap.

"I tried lead generation before and it was a waste of money."

Most lead products sell you a shared, aged list and leave you to work it. This is the opposite: the list is built for you from public records, and the same system that builds it also calls it, emails it, follows up and books it. If the list were the whole product, it would fail the same way.

"Will it sound like a robot to my customers?"

It sounds like a competent assistant. You approve the voice, the opening line and the disclosure wording, and most clients choose to have it say it is an AI assistant calling on behalf of the company. It never invents answers about your pricing, licensing or availability.

"What if it says something I can't deliver?"

It is limited to a list of approved service facts and promises you sign off on. It cannot quote outside your price floor, cannot commit to inspection timelines, and escalates to you the moment a conversation goes outside its rules. Every transcript is reviewable.

"My jobs are too big to sell on a cold call."

Then the cold call is not the sale — it is the appointment. The agent qualifies, confirms the decision maker and books the visit. Your closer does what they are good at, with a better-prepared prospect in front of them.

"I don't have time to manage another system."

That is the point of the build fee. We configure the lists, scripts, sequences and CRM wiring, and you approve them. After that your involvement is one weekly report and a live transfer when somebody says yes.

"How do I know it's actually working?"

You see dials, conversations, qualified opportunities, quotes and booked jobs attributed by list and sequence, every week. If a channel stops producing, you will know within one cycle, and so will we.

"What if I want to stop?"

The agent runs month to month after the build. You can pause all calling or all email from a single switch, and the pipeline, the recordings and the contact data are yours and export on demand.

Still unsure

Ask us something we have not covered.

Email or call and you will get a human — usually the same one who would run your build. No scripted sales sequence.
